A Pilgrimage Back To Yourself

A Pilgrimage Begins in Perfect Balance

Our pilgrimage begins on one of the most significant days in the ancient Egyptian calendar.

On 23 September 2027,

as light and darkness stand in perfect balance during the Autumn Equinox,

we gather at the Dahshur Necropolis,

just outside Cairo,

where the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid tell an ancient story of learning,

refinement and becoming.

The ancient Egyptians understood balance as Ma'at,

truth, harmony and divine order.

Before we travel anywhere else,

we begin here, restoring that same balance within ourselves before

stepping into one of the world's oldest spiritual landscapes.

Over the eleven days that follow,

Egypt gradually reveals herself.

We journey from the timeless waters of the Nile aboard our private dahabiya,

through magnificent temples that have witnessed thousands of years of devotion,

into the profound silence of the Western Desert,

and finally into the sacred stillness

of the King's Chamber within the Great Pyramid before dawn.

Has been intentionally chosen as another step in a living pilgrimage of remembrance.

As dawn breaks over Luxor,

we gently rise into the skies above one of the most sacred landscapes on Earth.

Floating silently above the Valley of the Kings,

the Nile and the ancient temples,

we experience the rare gift of perspective.

Sometimes transformation begins not by changing where we stand,

but by changing how we see.

From above, the landscape reminds us that every journey,

both ancient and personal,

is part of a far greater whole.

This is not simply a journey through Egypt.
It is a pilgrimage back to yourself.

Teachings Overview

Divider

Guided by Brett Shuttleworth and Tinolla Rodgers,

teaching side by side as equals,

Awakening the Temple Within is a pilgrimage where the teachings,

the landscape and your own inner journey unfold as one.

The pilgrimage begins on the Autumn Equinox,

a moment of perfect balance that the ancient Egyptians understood as Ma'at, truth, harmony and divine order.

From this first step,

every destination has been intentionally chosen

to awaken another part of your own inner landscape.

Brett shares his transformational

Golden Inner Temple teachings and guides the

awakening of the Fifteen Senses,

inviting you to experience life beyond the five senses

we have been taught to rely upon.

Divider

Alongside him, Tinolla guides the journey

through the seven chakras and energy centres within the body.

As we travel through Egypt,

each stage of the pilgrimage mirrors the ascent through these centres,

allowing the outer journey and the inner journey to unfold together.

Each day is further anchored through

the colour of the chakra being explored,

creating a living rhythm that accompanies the entire pilgrimage.

Walking beside them is Egypt's renowned desert explorer,

Mahmoud Marai, together with an Egyptologist

who brings the temples,

mythology and ancient wisdom of this

remarkable civilisation vividly to life.

Together they reveal an Egypt that few travellers ever have the privilege of experiencing.

Throughout the pilgrimage,

the land itself becomes the greatest teacher.
